GE HealthCare Technologies (GEHC) is scheduled to announce its third-quarter earnings results before market open on Wednesday, according to a report from StockStory. The healthcare technology company last quarter reported revenues of $5.01 billion, a 3.5% year-on-year increase that beat analyst expectations by 1%.
For the current quarter, analysts project GE HealthCare’s revenue will grow 4.2% year on year to $5.07 billion, an improvement from flat revenue in the same quarter last year. Adjusted earnings are expected to be $1.05 per share. Analysts covering the company have generally maintained their estimates over the last 30 days, suggesting they expect the business to remain on course. Over the past two years, GE HealthCare has missed Wall Street’s revenue estimates four times.
Other companies in the healthcare equipment and supplies segment have already reported their Q3 results. Intuitive Surgical delivered year-on-year revenue growth of 22.9%, beating analyst expectations by 3%, while Neogen reported a revenue decline of 3.6% but topped estimates by 2.6%. Following their earnings releases, Intuitive Surgical’s stock traded up 13.9% and Neogen’s stock was up 3.7%.
Investor sentiment in the healthcare equipment and supplies segment has been positive, with share prices up 7% on average over the last month. GE HealthCare’s stock has risen 7.3% during the same period and enters its earnings report with an average analyst price target of $87.35, compared to its current share price of $78.41.
