Saint Joseph’s Rehabilitation & Care Center, Skyview Villa Assisted Living announce transition of ownership, operations | News
Faith Regional Health Services is pleased to announce plans to transition its long-term care subsidiaries, Saint Joseph’s Rehabilitation and Care Center and Skyview Villa Assisted Living, to affiliate operating companies of The Ensign Group, Inc.
The strategic decision allows Faith Regional to focus its expertise and resources on core operations to continue to provide the highest quality care to the region and adapt to the evolving landscape of healthcare.
The Ensign Group is the parent company of the Ensign TM group of companies, which invest in and provide skilled nursing and senior living services, physical, occupational and speech therapies, other rehabilitative and healthcare services.
Since 1999, the independent operating affiliates of The Ensign Group have provided communities with compassionate, post-acute care. Each one of the 300+ businesses is run independently by its own management team and employees.
This unique approach empowers local leaders and their teams to provide superior solutions to the specific medical needs of the communities they serve.
An experienced local operations team committed to maintaining the high standards of care established will oversee the facility, current workforce, and preservation of faith-based services.
This will be the third facility in northeast Nebraska owned and operated by Ensign affiliates, accompanying Colonial Manor of Randolph and Wayne Country View Care and Rehabilitation.
“Ensign’s expertise and longevity in the long-term care industry, along with our shared values, made them the ideal fit to continue and enhance the legacy of St. Joseph’s Rehabilitation and Care Center and Skyview Villa Assisted Living.
“We are confident that they will uphold the values and excellence that our residents, their families, and the community have come to expect,” said Kelly Driscoll, President and CEO of Faith Regional Health Services.
“We are honored that Faith Regional Health Services will be entrusting us with operation of these facilities and are very excited to get to work with the outstanding local leaders and teams already in place at these operations,” stated Chad Keetch Ensign’s CIO, EVP, & Secretary.
The organizations are planning for a seamless transition, with no disruption to the care and services provided to residents. The transition is expected to take effect on October 1, 2024, upon the satisfaction of all closing conditions.
